How To Get Online Sales Without Any Social Media Followers

Today, a friend of mine asked me this:

"How can you grow a business to 5-figures monthly without even having tens of thousands of followers on social media?"

That's when I realized most people think they need to have a huge following to actually get sales. In my opinion, that's completely untrue. So here's what I told him: "Well, I run Facebook Ads."

In this article, I want to share how exactly I'm able to achieve this and hopefully you'll be able to implement the same strategy to help boost your own online sales.

The key to getting more online sales is reaching the right audiences. 🔑

There are a few ways reach your ideal audiences other than blindly posting on social media. Leveraging paid ads is definitely a great way to start getting online clients and customers for your business. So let's get started.

Step 1: Understand who your customers are.

Depending on your business, you might have an idea on who your target audiences are. If you are a b2b business, you might be looking to target other business owners. If you're in the jewelry niche, your audiences might be fashion enthusiasts.

Start by creating a list of traits that your ideal customers might have. What are their habits, what are their daily activities, what are their interest aside from what you're already selling. Having a better understanding of your potential customers will make it easier for you to sell later on.

Step 2: Target these people using Facebook Ads

Facebook is one of the biggest social media platforms with an active 1.93 billion users. If you're planning to find customers, you'll probably find them there. Plus, you'll be able to target audiences with different interest through Facebook Ad's detailed targeting options.

Through Facebook Ads, you are able to target audiences based on location, age, gender and various interests.

Step 3: Test different audiences and variables

Facebook Ads isn't magic nor it's a get rich quick scheme . You won't get sales right off the bat.

To run any kind of paid advertising, you need to have the right strategies. Don't just target one interest and leave it running. Chances are most of your competitors are also targeting the same exact interest.

Not only that, you also need to test different ad copy, creatives and marketing angles. That way, you are able to identify 'winning ads'. It might take some time to get the everything right and determine what will be best for your business.

Step 4: Optimize your sales funnels

Even if you have the best creatives, the best copywriting and the best ads, you still need to have a working and proven sales funnel. Take a look at your website and ask yourself, is it hard to navigate through the pages? Can you find all the necessary information you need before making a purchase?

If your sales funnel is the problem, then as an entrepreneur/ business owner, it's your job to fix it. You can do that by watching tutorials, get consultations or hiring experts to work on your website.

It's important to note that marketing isn't going to solve your 💩 sales funnels or slow/ confusing website. It's up to you to find a solution to your business needs.

Step 5: Scale your business

It might take some time for you to get to step 5 from step 1. You need to have solid strategies in place to help bring in consistent results each time before you even attempt to scale your business.

Every business is unique, some might have solutions that are easy to implement. Some on the other hand might be abit more trickier than expected. The hardest part of growing your business is getting the right information to do so. You don't need to re-invent the wheel. Instead, work smart and get the necessary help and strategies that are proven to help you grow your business.

It took me months to figure out the right campaign objectives, creatives and copywriting techniques to help get that first sale. After that, it's all about opti
